Contact lenses are a great vision solution for millions of people. They give you visual freedom as an alternative to eyeglasses. Contacts let you see without the extra weight of glasses and with full use of your peripheral vision. Contact lenses are convenient and can make a person look and feel great. They are ideal for sports, outdoor activities and special events.
Not all contact lenses are created equally. If you are farsighted, nearsighted or have astigmatism, there is a lens intended for you. If you wear bifocal or progressive eyeglasses, don’t worry! There are multi-focal contacts designed especially for you, which will allow you to see both far and near.
Once you and the doctor have decided that contacts are the right choice for you our doctors will help you be successful at wearing contact lenses. After a complete eye exam they will begin your contact lens fitting process. Based on your measurements, diagnostic lenses will be placed on your eyes and verified for fit. You will learn how to insert and remove your lenses, and how to properly care for them. You will return a week later for a follow up appointment to ensure that your lenses are fitting properly, and that your cornea is healthy. We are committed to your success at wearing contact lenses, and invite you to try them today!
