Jacobs and Quinton perform a thorough check for sight threatening problems like glaucoma, cataracts and diabetic retinopathy, to name a few. Our digital imaging camera can photograph the back part of your eyes so you will not have to be dilated as often as in the past.

Dr. Lawrence Jacobs
Optometrist
Dr. Jacobs has been wearing glasses since age 5 and contact lenses since age 12. Dr. Jacobs also had his Laser eye surgery in 2012.
Experiencing the benefits of quality optometric care at a young age was what inspired him to one day become an eye doctor. He wanted to be able to improve people’s lives through clear, healthy vision. In addition, Dr. Jacobs finds the eyes to be truly fascinating. “Not only are they our most precious sense, but they can also tell us a lot about our overall health. For example, conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and thyroid problems can be diagnosed at the time of an eye examination.”
Dr. Jacobs graduated from University of Texas with his undergraduate degree and Association and the Colorado Optometric Association. He has extensive experience in primary eye care and contact lenses that can reshape your eyes (Ortho K). Dr. Jacobs now uses Myopia Management to control and or stop the progression of children’s eyes form getting worse every year!
Dr. Jacobs is past president of Highlands Ranch Lions Club and Douglas County Pre-School vision screening. He has been the medical coordinator for 9 Health Fair in Highlands Ranch. Dr. Jacobs also helped start the Highlands Ranch Chamber of Commerce in 2000. He enjoys hiking, skiing, and other outdoor activities with his family.
Dr. Karla Quinton
Optometrist
Dr. Quinton graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the Colorado Optometric Association. She has extensive experience in primary eye care and contact lenses. She also enjoys seeing children. She specializes in hard to fit contact lenses. She utilizes a corneal topographer to map out the cornea for the most precise and comfortable design of your contact lenses.
Dr Quinton enjoys outdoor activities.
